About Us

The UnityWorks store is a family initiative. Randie, an educator (UnityWorks.org), and her husband Steve, a pediatrician, have been teaching Bahá'í children's classes, and workshops for youth and adults, since 1971. Parents and teachers have repeatedly asked for these lessons to be compiled into activity books that others could use.

In response, the first teacher's guide was published in 2001. Randie does the writing and Steve, the editing. Our younger son Jonathan, a medical student and musician, transforms songs into sheet music. Our older son Jordan is in charge of artwork and pre-production, turning print files into beautifully finished publications.

All educational materials have been developed and tested in the field, and have been used successfully in multiple settings over many years. In creating these materials, we have also drawn on our experience as international pioneers to Puerto Rico, where we established a Bahá'í-inspired elementary school, designing the entire K-6 curriculum.

Our PowerPoint Firesides and other Bahá'í teaching resources have also been developed in response to needs in the field.
